Monthly Shoot and Range Day
Good Morning,
Gunslingers, Gamblers, and Gunfighters,
We have one final opportunity to shoot this Saturday at Coyote Gulch before the IA/NE State Shoot. Hope you can come out and join us.
We will be having a light range clean up after the shoot. We would appreciate any and all help we can get.

Match Results May 3rd
We had 22 shooters come out for a great day and a fun match. JB Kidd burnt em down today taking the top spot. We also had 7 clean shooters..Black Jack Wille, Capt. Jim Midnight, Chili Pepper Kid, Coon River Kid, JB Kidd, Naco, and Platte Valley.
Our next shoot is Sunday May 17.

Good Evening Shooters,
We had 16 shooters come brave the chilly April day for a fun shoot.
Two cowboys were able to keep there fingers and eyes working and got a clean match, that was Black Jack Wille and Evil Fletch.
JB Kidd was able to take the over all spot

Good Afternoon Fellow Shooters,
We had a great day for 12 shooters today at Coyote Gulch. The rain held off for us to get in 6 fun stages.
The top overall Cowpoke was JB Kidd with a 92.71. We also had 4 clean shooters Black Jack Willie, Cactus Clark, JB Kidd, and La Bandita.
Please make sure you mark your calendars for next Saturday (April 18) as we are shooting again at Coyote Gulch.
You have 3 more days to get in your state application to qualify for a opportunity to get a shooters fee refund. The IA/NE State Shoot is only 39 days away.

Exciting news: FDMR now offers two options for members to renew their membership – the traditional Paper form and our new Online form.

Welcome to Fort Des Moines Rangers’ new and improved Cowboy Action Shooting Website and Blog page. Our goal for this website is for it to:
- Serve as a resource for current information and news concerning club activities;
- Encourage and expand participation in Fort Des Moines Rangers and its hosted competitions by making this information more readily available to others;
- Serves as an educational tool for new and prospective members; and,
- Promote Fort Des Moines Rangers’ Cowboy Action Shooting facilities – one of the finest in the region.

2025 Iowa/Nebraska State Championship Results
The 2025 IA/NE State Match has once again came to a conclusion…. and what a Championship it was. 3 days of great cowboy action shooting, and even a better group of people. Thanks to everyone who helped make it the outstanding event it was.
Congratulations to our Overall Champions – Little Hermana and Cowboy Carty, to the Iowa State Champions – Little Hermana and JB Kidd, to the NE State Champions – DB Belle and Platt Valley Kid, and to our 16 Clean Shooters.
